Steamroller Woodblock Carving

Connecting Communities, Internationally known artists and community members come together to collaborate in the creation of new and exciting works of art.  This program features Joseph Velasquez artist-in-residence at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Velasquez one of the founders of Drive-By-Press lead workshops in July, with demonstrations of print making and steamroller woodblock carving.  Large woodblock prints were made during the weekend of the JMKAC Midsummer Festival of the Arts.  The program “Steamroller Woodblock Carving” can now be seen on WSCS.

WSCS Camera Operator

WSCS CAMERA OPERATOR

                                                                

The City of Sheboygan is accepting applications for a part-time WSCS Camera Operator. The successful candidate must have the ability to work a varied schedule. Under the direction of the WSCS Director assists in video productions both in the studio and on location productions. Studio productions require studio set and microphone setup time. Location productions require setup and break down of video production equipment. The main responsibility is to provide good quality video for the overall production. The days and hours vary each week.

The rate of pay is $10.00/hour, DOQ.
