Maybe you are a newcomer. Maybe you have called Sheboygan home your entire life. People’s first impressions of our county may be something we take for granted or could be a hindrance to attracting the workforce our businesses need.
Discover what focus groups and participants of a collaborative event with Kenosha are telling us about Sheboygan County; what do they love, what do they dislike, what is unique and what is amazing. Human Resource departments and businesses alike can gain a unique perspective on the qualities their potential employees are seeking in a place they will call home. WSCS will record this event on September 11 and air the following week.
The September episodes of “A Closer Look” feature Fall Health Safety (6) with Libby Holte with the Sheboygan County Department of Health and Human Services, Workforce Development (13) with Tammy Garf from the Sheboygan County Chamber Commerce, Bookworm Gardens (20) with Executive Director Elizabeth Wieland, The Salvation Army (27) with Corps Officer Daryl Mangeri and Social Services Director Felicia Clavelle will finish out the month.
